How are added sulfites any different than naturally occuring ones in wine?
I dont understand this. I was told that sulfites occur naturally in the wine making process?
if so, what are these added sulfites exactly then?
are these artificial ones , and really what are they?

I am referring to the ones that "inorganic" wines have added to prolong shelf life.
Sulfites cover a whole load of sulfur based chemicals. Sulfur dioxide is used in small quantities during the wine making process -- it kills harmful bacteria on grapes arriving at the winery, it sterilizes barrels.
Unless you are one of a very small number of asthmatics who have a sulfur allergy -- and you would know by now -- you have nothing to worry about
